Freelance AI/ML Engineer – Pricing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Implement an existing AI pricing model within a production setting

• Develop data pipelines in Azure Databricks (using PySpark and SQL) for sales, product, customer, and purchasing data

• Evaluate, modify, partially rewrite, and retrain a pre-existing machine learning pricing model

• Optimize models, such as adjusting price elasticity by segment

• Monitor experiments using MLflow

• Validate recommendations against actual prices and margins, providing explanations to the business

• Integrate the solution into pricing and sales workflows

• Collaborate closely with an international team

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in project work as an ML Engineer or Data Scientist

• Proven track record of delivering at least one end-to-end AI project to production

• Practical experience with Azure Databricks

• Proficient Python programming skills (including PySpark and SQL)

• Background in pricing, price optimization, or forecasting is advantageous

• Experience in agile work environments (e.g., Scrum)

• Fluent in English

• Proficient in German at least at B2 level

• Openness to working on a freelance basis
