This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee a team of Fraud Risk Analysts dedicated to monitoring, detecting, and analyzing transaction data to identify, prevent, and mitigate fraudulent activities.
• Guide Analysts in daily reporting procedures aimed at detecting, preventing, and mitigating fraud.
• Provide effective leadership to Fraud Risk Analysts in the interpretation and application of regulatory guidance related to Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR), Regulation CC, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), etc., including liability assessments.
• Conduct regular quality control reviews of Analysts’ casework to ensure compliance and consistency, while offering pertinent coaching and mentorship to the Analyst Team.
• Regularly monitor case metrics.
• Evaluate Analyst Team SARs for compliance with FinCEN guidelines and allocate them to BSA for submission.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and industry experts to prioritize, implement, and enhance risk mitigation policies and controls.
• Set annual objectives for the analyst team and conduct annual performance evaluations.
• Partner with Human Resources to fill Analyst positions, including interviewing, hiring, salary recommendations, training, and performance coaching.
• Meet individually with Analysts on a regular basis and conduct monthly team meetings to discuss fraud trends, new processes, and procedures.
• Ensure that Analysts receive cross-training on all operational functions.
• Communicate any deficiencies in existing fraud reporting tools to the Fraud Investigations Manager and work collaboratively to ensure all reports operate effectively.
• Authorize Batch Transaction Entry (BTE) transactions and indemnifications for Analysts and Investigators.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or another relevant field (Preferred).
• At least 7 years of experience in fraud prevention, detection, or investigations within the financial services sector (Required).
• A minimum of 3 years of leadership and management experience with fraud professionals (Required).
• Certifications such as Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Financial Crimes Investigator, Certified Cyber Crimes Investigator, or other related financial crime/fraud certifications (Required).
• Strong comprehension of regulatory requirements, including SARs, Regulation CC, and UCC (Required).
• Familiarity with data analytics, reporting tools, and fraud monitoring systems (Required).
• Ability to think critically under pressure and make informed decisions in complex or ambiguous scenarios (Required).
• Proven experience in leading systems implementations and collaborating with vendors (Required).
