Fraud Investigation Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations into fraud cases and determine suitable outcomes based on the evidence at hand.

• Analyze transaction behaviors to pinpoint fraud patterns and identify emerging risks.

• Maintain thorough documentation of investigation results and ensure accurate case records are kept.

• Aid in fund recovery initiatives by collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Promptly escalate complex or high-risk cases as necessary.

• Suggest improvements in processes and controls based on the findings from investigations.

• Work in conjunction with Product, Operations, Compliance, Customer Support, and other relevant parties to address fraud-related challenges.

• Ensure that investigations are finalized within the stipulated service level agreements (SLAs).

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in fraud investigations, banking, fintech, or a similar risk-related area.

• Familiarity with digital payment fraud, transaction analysis, and fraud investigation methods is advantageous.
