This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Collaborate with a customer engagement team to assist large banking, financial, and e-commerce clients in implementing fraud and identity solutions.
• Examine suspicious activities and intricate fraud cases to pinpoint emerging risks and challenges.
• Analyze data to develop and refine rules that detect fraud, minimize friction, and streamline customer workflows in real time.
• Provide compelling analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences, including in-person presentations at customer locations.
• Guide clients on best practices for the technical deployment and analysis of ThreatMetrix DDP and other LexisNexis Risk Solutions.
• Foster ongoing relationships with clients' fraud managers, risk analysts, application developers, and project managers.
• Work collaboratively with other ThreatMetrix LNRS teams internally.
• A quantitative or technical degree is required.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in managing large customer-facing solutions.
• At least 3 years of experience in the financial services, banking, or e-commerce sectors.
• Over 3 years of experience delivering analytics using Python (pandas, sklearn, matplotlib) or R.
• Proven proficiency in SQL and Excel for reporting purposes.
• A readiness to perform root-cause analysis on client issues and a willingness to learn new products.
• A strong desire to assist customers in achieving success and delivering value through proof-of-concept analyses.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong multi-tasking and prioritization abilities, thriving in a dynamic environment with frequently shifting priorities.
• Experience in investigating financial crimes and fraud, such as account takeover, card-not-present fraud, money laundering, and social engineering.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity research, including browser fingerprinting, public key infrastructure, computer networking, and device authentication.
• Background in statistical/scorecard modeling or graph analysis, particularly related to credit risk or fraud detection.
