
Fractional Director of Technology – Advisor Network

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Advisors are assigned to project-based tasks when the requirements of clients align with their area of expertise.
• Offer professional guidance to clients in Alternative Asset Firms and Family Offices.
• Assist the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in developing, maintaining, and managing the technology infrastructure and operations.
• Create and execute policies, procedures, and control measures.
• Aid in the overall daily management and supervision of the complete technology stack throughout the organization, which includes software, hardware, cybersecurity, and operations.
• Oversee and implement proactive measures for cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Guarantee application optimization and transformation to facilitate the growth and expansion of corporate partners' businesses.
• Lead and coordinate the design, development, and rollout of new applications, systems software, and enhancements to existing applications.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar discipline.
• An MBA or another relevant postgraduate degree is advantageous.
• Over 6 years of demonstrated experience as a Director of Technology within an Alternative Asset Firm or family office.
• Extensive technical knowledge and expertise across all aspects of IT, including Application Teams, Information Security, Business Process Management, Program and Portfolio Management, IT Partner and Supplier Management, IT Architecture Management, Digital Platforms, and IT Infrastructure and Operations.
• Significant experience with Investment Technology vendors for both hosted and on-premises solutions. This may include derivatives platforms (e.g., Calypso, Murex), investment accounting platforms (e.g., Eagle, ePam), OMS vendors (e.g., Aladdin, CRD), and others (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet).
• Proficiency in budget and resource planning/monitoring to ensure effective budget management.
• Strong comprehension of the business processes within the regulated landscape of investment management and financial services firms.
• Capability to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a focus on timely delivery, customer satisfaction (both internal and external), and team morale.
