📋 Description

• Offer expert advice and guidance to Arootah clients seeking assistance with their Investor Relations requirements. This role entails consulting for some of the world's leading Alternative Asset Firms and Family Offices, leveraging your expertise in Investor Relations to assist clients in:

• Crafting realistic and efficient monthly action plans.

• Recognizing internal and contextual challenges.

• Decomposing goals into actionable tasks.

• Formulating an action strategy for each objective.

• Supplying clients with resources related to the execution of their action plans.

• Implementing policies, procedures, and control measures.

• Reviewing, analyzing, and reporting on client tools and resources to ensure adherence to industry best practices.

• Assessing each client’s progress toward goal realization using key performance indicators (KPIs) and scoring matrices.

• Maintaining and sharing detailed, accurate records of consulting outcomes (challenges, breakthroughs, etc.).

• Overseeing all day-to-day management of investor relations, including client onboarding, addressing client inquiries, ongoing support for client and constituent needs, and ensuring a positive investor experience.

• Conveying an accurate and consistent message to both existing and prospective investors.

• Assisting in the creation, editing, and maintenance of all marketing materials, particularly pitch books, fund risk reports, monthly investor publications, and tailored client documents & thought leadership pieces.

• Proactively managing all Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), ensuring all related documentation is completed and maintained.

• Reviewing monthly performance reports, necessitating a solid understanding of performance, exposure, and other data analyses.

• Collaborating closely with internal teams, including senior management, operations, risk management, legal, and compliance, to ensure that client and regulatory requirements are met and to guarantee the accuracy of RFP/DDQ responses.

• Creating, maintaining, and enhancing marketing materials for investor meetings, calls, conferences, and roadshows.

• Updating distributable monthly attribution, risk, and AUM templates.

• Maintaining external databases with the firm’s data and information.

• Enhancing the firm’s information database to facilitate the building, automation, and improvement of the firm’s data warehouse, enabling more efficient and effective responses to client requests.

• Populating and maintaining the internal client database while facilitating weekly and monthly performance update communications through the system.

• Addressing ad hoc requests from prospects and current clients.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• An MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.

• Sales or financial industry qualifications (such as Series 7 or Series 63) are beneficial.

• At least seven (7) years of professional experience in a comparable IR/Marketing role within a Hedge Fund, Alternative Investment Firm, or Family Office.

• Experience engaging with sophisticated institutional clients and prospective clients, with a proven track record of developing new opportunities.

• A natural inclination towards sales and a desire to forge new relationships.

• Familiarity with multi-asset sectors and investment types, including, but not limited to, public equity (long/short), private equity, fixed income, and absolute return-oriented multi-strategy.

• Proven analytical and quantitative abilities, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Confident presentation skills for client interactions (both in-person and via phone).

• A strong team player with an entrepreneurial mindset and exceptional interpersonal skills necessary for engaging with personnel across senior levels of the firm.

• A self-starter with strong project management capabilities and the ability to follow through effectively.
