Fractional Controller – Financial and Accounting Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Directs and oversees the accounting and financial operations of client organizations.

• Manages the preparation and examination of financial data.

• Develops financial forecasts and budgets.

• Maintains financial controls and aids in strategic decision-making.

• Collaborates closely with client leadership, internal CFOs, and accounting personnel.

• Prepares financial statements, which include income statements and balance sheets.

• Provides strategic oversight of accounting and finance functions for clients.

• Develops and enhances accounting policies and procedures.

• Implements and optimizes accounting systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Professional Accountancy.

• A minimum of 7-10 years of accounting experience.

• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.

• Availability for remote work.

• CPA or CMA certification preferred, but not mandatory.

• Experience in the agricultural sector is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in Canopy, AGRIS, AgTrax, Great Plains, Net Suite, QuickBooks, AgVance, Business Central, Sage, or other relevant industry software.
