Fractional Chief Operating Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee network-wide operations, encompassing facilities, HR administration, compliance, and finance coordination.

• Collaborate with the CEO on strategic initiatives and convert them into actionable operational plans.

• Evaluate existing systems and pinpoint necessary modifications to structure, staffing, or processes.

• Develop and enhance policies, procedures, and reporting frameworks across all school locations.

• Assist in budgeting and resource distribution in collaboration with the finance team.

• Mentor and supervise operations personnel at both the network and school levels.

• Represent operations at board meetings and leadership gatherings as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of reputable leadership experience in charter school systems and operations.

• Proven experience managing operations across multiple school sites within a charter network.

• A strong history of developing or enhancing operational systems in an organization undergoing growth or transition.

• Extensive knowledge in HR, finance coordination, facilities management, compliance, and vendor oversight.

• Ability to work autonomously in a fractional or interim role.

• Must be available to work during Pacific business hours, regardless of location.
