Chief Operating Officer – 100% Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete operational framework, collaborating with department leaders.

• Create and uphold the management structure of the company.

• Set a regular schedule for meetings, check-ins, KPIs, and executive reporting.

• Restructure the company’s organization by reallocating tasks and removing single points of failure.

• Convert manual reconciliation and reporting processes into automated workflows.

• Promote a culture centered on data-driven decision-making.

• Manage responses to incidents, KPI downturns, vendor modifications, and team reorganizations.

• Serve as the operational counterpart for the foundation, with clearly defined roles and a trusted relationship.

• Take responsibility for execution, performance management, objectives, and timely delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in roles such as Head of Operations, VP of Operations, or similar positions.

• A demonstrated history of managing multiple departments at once.

• Strong management maturity, with experience supervising various reporting lines.

• Capability to establish and maintain a management rhythm.

• Skill in identifying bottlenecks, prioritizing effectively, and saying no when necessary.

• Exceptional project and process management abilities.

• Proficient in KPI-driven management and operational dashboard evaluation.

• Experience in leading large, geographically dispersed teams.

• Ability to coordinate leaders, resolve cross-functional conflicts, and integrate deliverables.

• An ownership mentality, with autonomy and full accountability for outcomes.

• Direct and clear communication skills, including interactions at the executive level within the foundation.

• Experience in managing, developing, and tracking projects using Notion.

• Willingness to work weekends in case of emergencies or critical business needs.

• Preferred qualifications include experience in a high-volume transactional digital business, risk- or compliance-sensitive operations, scaling operations from hundreds of thousands to millions of users, and familiarity with acquisition, affiliate marketing, retention strategies, CRM, finance, and marketing funnels.
