This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Act as the operational hub and trusted advisor for the leadership in Regional & Agribusiness Banking.
• Take ownership of operational excellence in areas such as change management, operations, financial insights and reporting, as well as the development and support of strategic initiatives.
• Play a key role in the Regional & Agribusiness Banking Leadership Team, providing guidance on execution matters.
• Manage the implementation of extensive change programs, focusing on strategies that impact both people and customers, along with communications, training, and stakeholder engagement.
• Represent Regional & Agribusiness Banking in Business Banking working groups, ensuring that regional nuances are considered in initiatives.
• Mentor and influence Senior Executives to drive change within their respective teams.
• Oversee BU/SU and Domain change portfolios to enhance sequencing, alignment, and stakeholder engagement.
• Lead a cross-functional team that is remotely located to plan, manage, and sustain change while building capabilities.
• Report on the effectiveness of change management through metrics and data, driving continuous improvement.
• Promote support for NPS enhancement, business growth, new-to-bank acquisition, capability uplift, and stronger customer relationships while adhering to risk obligations.
• Provide strategic and execution-oriented advice to the Regional & Agribusiness Banking Leadership Team.
• Advocate for a motivated, capable, and risk-aware workforce through strategies for attraction, retention, and engagement.
• Utilize digitization and AI to enhance productivity and quality.
• Aid in the development and execution of policy, process, and product solutions for regional commercial and agribusiness clients.
• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management and engagement with senior stakeholders.
• Profound understanding of regional Australia and the complexities of operating in remote and dispersed markets.
• Proven track record in managing and sustaining comprehensive, large-scale change programs.
• Capability to coach senior executives in leading change effectively.
• Experience in enhancing team and discipline maturity through subject matter expertise.
• Ability to nurture a culture centered around sharing, learning, and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and influencing capabilities.
• Proficiency in navigating ambiguity and functioning in a complex, non-binary environment.
• A highly consultative, collaborative, and people-oriented leadership approach.
• Comfort in engaging with a cohort of senior leaders.
• Business Banking knowledge, including strategy, systems, processes, and policies, is advantageous but not mandatory.
