Chief Operating Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the company's operational framework, which includes setting departmental objectives, KPIs, weekly performance dashboards, and ensuring accountability across the Supply, Demand, and Marketplace divisions.

• Facilitate regular meetings with department heads, eliminate obstacles, and guarantee that leaders achieve their two primary KPIs with safeguards against metric manipulation.

• Uphold P&L discipline by overseeing departmental unit economics, enforcing cost limits, and tracking progress towards the monthly net profit goal.

• Propel collaborative execution among Supply, Demand, and Product teams to ensure timely product launches.

• Oversee recruitment and organizational structuring as the company advances into insurance and loan lead sectors.

• Ensure departments operate under two KPIs with weekly reviews of the established guardrails.

• Achieve and maintain the net profit target consistently.

• Relieve the CEO of daily operational responsibilities.

• Successfully launch at least one new vertical without disrupting the existing core business operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing operations at a proptech or marketplace firm generating over $10M in annual revenue.

• Comprehensive understanding of CPL, EPL, sales funnel metrics, and refund economics.

• Experience in managing remote teams across various time zones.

• A direct and results-oriented approach to operations.

• Experience guiding a company through significant scaling or an exit is considered an advantage.
