Fractional CFO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the financial leader for around 30 client businesses.

• Evaluate financial statements to discover growth and profitability opportunities.

• Develop forecasts, budgets, cash-flow strategies, and KPI dashboards.

• Assist owners in enhancing pricing, margins, cash flow, and overall profitability.

• Collaborate directly with business owners on growth strategies and key decisions.

• Ensure that owners remain accountable to their financial objectives and commitments.

• Support businesses in becoming more financially disciplined and proactive.

• Establish trusted, long-lasting relationships with business owners.

• Work alongside clients while HTM manages client acquisition, marketing, systems, and infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be located in: AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NY, PA, TX, VA, or WA.

• Over 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience is required.

• Substantial experience with small to mid-sized businesses is necessary.

• Experience in advising founders, owners, or senior leadership teams is essential.

• Proven ability to manage multiple clients, companies, or business relationships at once.

• Strong skills in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.

• Capable of translating financial data into actionable business recommendations.

• A history of aiding businesses in enhancing profitability, cash flow, or growth is important.

• Relevant experience as a CFO, Fractional CFO, Outsourced CFO, Virtual CFO, Business Advisor, or in a similar financial leadership position is highly valued.

• Experience with service-oriented businesses is advantageous.

• Law firm experience is not a prerequisite.
