FP&A Manager – IT Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the strategic financial partner to the CIO and IT leadership, delivering forward-looking insights and decision-making support.

• Spearhead the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of financial models for IT personnel, technology investments, project expenditures, vendor contracts, and ongoing operational costs.

• Manage the financial oversight of offshore and nearshore IT resources, which includes forecasting, analyzing FTE versus contractor economics, utilization and rate assessments, SOW and invoice governance, along with currency and rate-card management to enhance cost efficiency and value generation.

• Lead the annual operating plan, long-range planning, and rolling forecast processes for all IT-related financial activities.

• Track actuals versus budget and forecast; identify variances, trends, risks, and opportunities along with clear explanations of root causes.

• Deliver executive-ready reports and presentations for the CFO, CIO, and leadership team.

• Assess IT vendor contracts, managed service agreements, and capital projects to optimize expenditures and align with value-creation priorities.

• Collaborate across functions with Accounting, HR, Sourcing, Operations, and Project Management to ensure precision and alignment in technology-related financial matters.

• Create dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor IT performance, efficiency, and cost structure.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, enhance processes, and fortify internal controls related to IT expenditures.

• Execute other related responsibilities as required to assist finance and technology leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or CFA is advantageous.

• At least 7 years of progressive experience in FP&A or financial analysis, preferably within Healthcare Services, multi-site operations, or a private equity-backed context.

• Proven experience in supporting IT or Technology functions, including the forecasting of personnel, projects, and vendor expenditures.

• Demonstrated ability to create complex financial models and analytical tools using Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, scenario modeling, data visualization).

• Experience in preparing executive-level materials for CFOs, CIOs, CEOs, and private equity partners.
