FP&A Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the company's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning functions.

• Develop and sustain financial models that connect revenue, expenses, transaction volume, customer metrics, rewards, unit economics, and other key business indicators.

• Generate monthly financial reports and conduct variance analysis, providing explanations for changes and their causes.

• Assist in strategic planning, fundraising efforts, capital planning, and other significant company initiatives.

• Create scenario models to assess new products, partnerships, hiring strategies, and other business decisions.

• Collaborate closely with accounting to ensure that actual financial outcomes are accurately represented in models and forecasts.

• Facilitate ad hoc analyses and support data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

• Report directly to the CEO while working closely with leadership and teams across the company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance.

• Over 5 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or a comparable analytical position.

• Proficient in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.

• Comprehensive understanding of financial statements and the flow of operational activities into financial results.

• Proven experience in managing budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Capability to convert complex financial and operational data into clear insights for stakeholders without a finance background.

• Familiarity with BI and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Metabase.

• Background in fintech, banking, payments, lending, or financial services is preferred.

• Demonstrated practical use of AI tools for tangible work outcomes.
