This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a strategic finance partner for Menlo Security’s Go-To-Market (GTM) organization.
• Direct financial planning related to revenue, Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), bookings, gross margin, and operating expenses for annual planning, ongoing forecasts, and long-term planning.
• Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Operations on quota planning, capacity planning, territory design, pipeline coverage, sales productivity, and attainment analysis.
• Develop and oversee key metrics to assess topline performance, sales efficiency, customer retention, expansion, churn, gross revenue retention, net revenue retention, and unit economics.
• Construct and enhance forecasting methodologies for bookings, ARR, revenue, renewals, churn, upsell, and pipeline conversion.
• Evaluate business trends and extract actionable insights to support daily operations and longer-term strategic objectives.
• Establish FP&A discipline around management reporting, variance analysis, performance narratives, and executive-level decision-making support.
• Assist in strategic initiatives such as pricing, packaging, deal structuring, channel strategy, product launches, and business cases for growth investments.
• Manage financial oversight of GTM budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and prompt responses to variances.
• Collaborate across functions to assess investment trade-offs in sales capacity, marketing programs, customer success coverage, product initiatives, and international growth.
• Create high-quality presentations for executives and the Board that communicate performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
• Keep abreast of developments in cybersecurity, browser security, enterprise software, and SaaS market dynamics to inform Menlo’s growth strategy.
• 6-8 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or operational roles within a high-growth SaaS or cybersecurity company.
• Proficient financial modeling skills, including experience in constructing detailed P&Ls, ARR models, bookings models, headcount plans, and long-range operating strategies.
• Experience supporting GTM organizations, including Sales, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, or Partnerships.
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, such as ARR, bookings, revenue, churn, retention, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Gross Revenue Retention (GRR), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value to CAC ratio (LTV/CAC), magic number, sales productivity, and pipeline conversion.
• Capability to assess opportunities and risks associated with topline growth, margin, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
• Excellent executive communication skills, with the capacity to transform complex data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations.
• High attention to detail and a strong dedication to accuracy in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
• Ability to function effectively in ambiguous situations and develop scalable processes in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to transition between strategic thinking and detailed execution.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, enterprise software, secure access, browser security, or infrastructure software is advantageous.
• Experience with SQL, Business Intelligence tools, Customer Relationship Management systems, planning tools, or a willingness to acquire such skills is a plus.
