This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +7 more states.
• Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position will serve as a strategic individual contributor, converting raw data into actionable insights that propel our growth and facilitate scaling.
• This position will take ownership of our financial models, SaaS metrics reporting, and strategic forecasting.
• Collaborating with the CFO to develop dynamic scenarios that encompass revenue modeling, resourcing needs, and cash implications.
• Leading the budgeting process and conducting variance analysis.
• Engaging with business leaders to assist their functional areas.
• Continuously exploring opportunities to enhance process improvements and boost operational efficiency.
• Monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing key performance indicators (KPIs), such as ARR, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), Churn, LTV, and CAC.
• Collaborating with Accounting, IT, and HR to streamline hiring, expenditure, and closing processes, among other tasks.
• Assisting the CFO in preparing financial reporting packages and presentations for the Board of Directors and investors.
• Partnering with functional business leaders to conduct ad hoc analyses on strategic topics, including future growth opportunities and efficient scaling of the business.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in a corporate finance role.
• Experience within a B2B SaaS, AI, or software company; familiarity with subscription mechanics, KPIs, and recurring revenue.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with the capability to construct and maintain intricate financial models.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and distill them into essential, actionable insights.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong emphasis on data integrity.
• Understanding of GAAP accounting principles and their application in a subscription-based business model.
• A highly trustworthy individual contributor who can work independently and seeks opportunities for improved efficiency.
• A problem solver who proactively identifies areas for enhancement and presents solutions.
• Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making.
• Proficient with AI tools and a willingness to utilize them.
• Experience with Quickbooks, Rippling, Bill.com, Ramp, and Salesforce is advantageous.
