This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Take ownership of essential FP&A functions, which include monthly closing processes and board reporting.
• Compile metric definitions into a standardized metrics dictionary and promote its usage.
• Supervise the FP&A Specialist, enhancing her reporting and analytical capabilities.
• Define and prioritize the data, systems, and organizational framework that supports financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the Data team and other departments to enhance self-service tools, data accessibility, and ownership.
• Enhance forecasting procedures and scenario analyses.
• Provide prompt responses to ad-hoc business inquiries.
• Create dashboards and ensure their effective utilization.
• Assist in planning and board discussions through structured scenario analyses.
• Work closely with the Head of Finance, Finance team, Data team, RevOps, COO, and other senior stakeholders.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in finance, particularly within a SaaS or SaaS-adjacent fintech scale-up environment.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to leverage data/BI outputs for informed decision-making.
• Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and conducting scenario/sensitivity analyses.
• Experience with consolidated forecasts across multiple entities and markets.
• In-depth, practical understanding of SaaS metrics and planning logic, including ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV/CAC, and profit margins.
• Background in collaborating with teams to shape the data, systems, or organizational structure that underpins financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, or Italian is a plus.
• Familiarity with data modeling is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of SQL and/or BI tools is desirable.
