This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +24 more states.
• Oversee essential FP&A tasks, including the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
• Create and present precise board-level reports, encompassing executive summaries, key performance indicators, and forward-looking insights.
• Manage variance analysis between actual results, budget, and forecasts; identify trends, risks, and opportunities while effectively communicating drivers in a concise and actionable manner.
• Collaborate with business leaders to facilitate decision-making through scenario modeling, financial analysis, and performance tracking.
• Design and maintain financial models that underpin strategic initiatives and operational planning.
• Utilize SQL and Power BI to analyze extensive datasets, develop dashboards, and enhance the accessibility and usability of financial insights.
• Contribute to defining and advancing how the FP&A function incorporates automation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven tools to boost efficiency, accuracy, and insight generation.
• Mentor and assist team members by sharing best practices, offering constructive feedback, and promoting a collaborative and inclusive team atmosphere.
• Persistently enhance FP&A processes, documentation, and controls to facilitate scalability and clarity.
• 4-6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, including a minimum of 2 years within a SaaS technology environment.
• Proven capability to prepare or contribute to executive or board-level financial reports.
• Strong analytical abilities, with experience in using SQL for data queries and Power BI (or similar tools) for creating dashboards and visualizations being an advantage.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and enjoys exploring data.
• Advanced financial modeling skills – capable of building models from the ground up and experienced with FP&A systems.
• Proficient in translating complex financial concepts into clear, relevant insights for non-finance stakeholders.
• Interest in and curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, with a commitment to shaping their responsible and effective application within FP&A.
• Collaborative approach and experience in cross-functional partnerships (e.g., with Operations, Product, Sales, or Technology teams).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and context.
• A growth mindset – receptive to learning, feedback, and ongoing improvement.
