This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Integral member of the Finance Anaplan Admin Support Team, facilitating connected financial planning solutions.
• Spearhead the technical architecture and design processes, including prototyping, process design (such as scenario design and flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures, and assisting with implementations.
• Assess new design specifications and enhance quality standards while addressing architectural issues.
• Transform existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business challenges into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models.
• Modify current models as part of a connected solution, for optimization, or to integrate new functionalities.
• Provide transparent and critical feedback along with progress updates promptly to Business Partners and Anaplan Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Generate and manage financial reports using PeopleSoft, Anaplan, and other relevant software on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• A proven asset in enabling systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions within tight deadlines.
• Exercise independent judgment within established policies and procedures to determine appropriate actions, while also leading a small team towards outcomes and serving as a role model for your team of model builders to deliver value-added, sustainable solutions.
• Make a substantial hands-on contribution to the development of optimization products.
• Develop model documentation and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Author, document, and maintain the associated code base and unit tests, adhering to industry-standard coding practices.
• Lead data integration, migration solutions, and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment of designed solutions.
• Proactively prioritize projects, manage customer expectations, and organize the team's efforts for maximum effectiveness.
• Act as a source of technical expertise and a mentor across development teams.
• 5-8 years of experience in building relevant system models.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Demonstrated understanding of a formal system implementation methodology, including requirements gathering, design, build/test, training, change management, and deployment (preferably Agile methodology).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Over 1 year of experience with Anaplan.
• Proven ability to lead and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, with a hands-on approach.
