FP&A Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Delivering financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for various Business Units.

• Researching, gathering, reviewing, and monitoring financial data to create timely and precise financial models aimed at boosting company profitability.

• Analyzing discrepancies between actuals, forecasts, and plans, while refining forecasts accordingly.

• Extracting and consolidating extensive data sets, enhancing financial models in the process.

• Providing precise materials to adhere to the monthly closing schedule.

• Documenting essential financial processes and executing process enhancements.

• Partnering with business leaders to summarize and evaluate critical data.

• Leading specialized analyses and projects to aid leadership in making informed decisions.

• Assisting the Corporate Finance team with K12 financial policies and business procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.

• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proficiency and understanding of various functions within Finance, including Budgeting, Consolidation, Performance Reporting, and financial analysis.

• Familiarity with accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls.

• Strong skills in research and analysis.

• Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.).

• Capability to pass the required background check.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
