FP & A Consultant – Temporary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +14 more states.

📋 Description

• Extract, validate, and reconcile historical financial data from NetSuite.

• Ensure alignment between the NetSuite reporting framework and the budget structure.

• Identify and rectify discrepancies across various locations or account usages.

• Standardize financial data across different departments and locations.

• Clean and organize datasets for effective budgeting and reporting.

• Reconcile all consolidated data back to the NetSuite architecture.

• Maintain a tidy, auditable dataset throughout the budgeting process.

• Develop and manage budget input templates for department leaders.

• Pre-fill templates with historical data and pertinent context.

• Ensure templates are user-friendly, consistent, and straightforward for non-financial stakeholders.

• Consolidate submitted inputs into a uniform format suitable for the core model.

• Track and oversee input submissions across various departments.

• Follow up with stakeholders to guarantee timely and complete submissions.

• Support iteration cycles by updating and merging revised inputs.

• Assist in maintaining organization and version control across multiple workstreams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–8+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or finance operations.

• Strong expertise in NetSuite is essential (data extraction, reporting structure, account mapping).

• Experience with financial data from multi-entity or multi-location operations.

• Proficient in Excel.

• Experience in supporting bottoms-up budgeting processes.
