This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +5 more states.
• Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities via calls, emails, Apollo, and LinkedIn outreach, employing a creative, persona-driven approach that aligns our offerings with each prospect’s challenges.
• Conduct research to target high-potential ecommerce brands throughout the US that fit Mention Me’s Ideal Customer Profile.
• Lead with insights: confidently present Mention Me’s range of products and customize your pitch to address each prospect’s unique marketing obstacles.
• Schedule and conduct qualification calls with key decision-makers, uncovering pain points and arranging high-quality meetings for our Account Executives.
• Collaborate with the London-based Marketing, Partnerships, and Sales departments to develop multi-touch campaigns that drive pipeline growth.
• Serve as Mention Me’s representative in the US market, providing feedback on how American ecommerce brands discuss acquisition, referral, and growth strategies.
• Maintain immaculate CRM data, track outreach metrics, and consistently optimize for enhanced conversion rates.
• Leverage AI tools to personalize outreach and operate efficiently on a larger scale.
• Achieve and surpass monthly activity targets and goals for qualified opportunities.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of outbound SDR experience, with a demonstrated ability to book and convert qualified opportunities.
• Have experience selling to ecommerce brands and an understanding of the challenges encountered by marketing and acquisition teams in this sector.
• Exhibit a true hunter mentality — motivated by targets, driven by growth, and unafraid to make calls.
• Have experience in SaaS, marketing technology, or agency settings.
• Be solution-oriented: capable of recognizing a brand’s challenges and positioning Mention Me’s offerings as the solution.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills — articulate, persuasive, and engaging both in written correspondence and during calls.
• Be self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fully remote role, while collaborating with a team across different time zones.
• Be enthusiastic about the prospect of being a founding hire and contributing to how Mention Me establishes its presence in the US market.
