Founding Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Identify, engage, and successfully secure top-tier candidates in both technical (network, software, systems engineering) and non-technical (operations, sales, marketing) roles.

• Craft a compelling narrative that attracts exceptional candidates across various platforms, including LinkedIn, referrals, community engagements, and all candidate interactions.

• Manage the complete hiring process from start to finish: collaborating with founders, creating job descriptions, developing sourcing strategies, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, enhancing candidate experiences, and overseeing offer management.

• Take ownership of the ATS by ensuring clean data management, developing process playbooks, and establishing the recruiting operating system that Share will use for future scaling, currently utilizing Ashby.

• Serve as a strategic partner to the founders on hiring philosophies, compensation strategies, and approaches to top-of-funnel recruitment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of comprehensive recruiting experience, either within a startup environment or at a boutique search firm.

• Proven track record in hiring highly technical candidates, including network, systems, and software engineers.

• Practical experience managing an ATS from end to end (Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar).

• Strong instincts in sourcing talent.

• Ability to develop and maintain an engaging employer brand narrative.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguity and working efficiently in a lean, founder-led setting.

• Nice to Have:

• - Experience recruiting talent in or for regions across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

• - Background in recruiting for infrastructure, telecommunications, fintech, or deep-tech industries.

• - Executive or retained search experience.

• - Familiarity with AI-assisted recruiting tools and automation workflows.
