Founding Product Designer – Senior/Staff

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the complete user experience and design language for nascent products

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for both web and mobile applications

• Develop strategies for user research to identify customer pain points and enhance design choices

• Collaborate with founders, engineers, and product teams to ensure design aligns with business goals

• Build and sustain design systems and reusable UI components for scalability

• Conduct usability testing, A/B testing, and make iterative improvements based on data and user insights

• Advocate for best practices in design, accessibility, and human-centered design principles

• Submit an application to become part of SignalFire’s Talent Ecosystem

• SignalFire reviews applications continuously and may connect suitable candidates with portfolio companies

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product design, UI/UX, or visual design for web and mobile platforms

• Strong expertise in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, as well as prototyping tools like Framer and InVision

• Experience in building and scaling design systems from the ground up

• Knowledge of user research methods, usability testing, and making design decisions driven by data

• Understanding of interaction design, motion design, and principles of responsive UI

• Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript

• Experience with early-stage startups or lean product teams is advantageous

• Ability to shape the design vision and user experience for new products

• Capability to work collaboratively with engineers and product teams to convert ideas into engaging interfaces
