Founding Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop the core product across the entire stack, including the job-matching engine, resume customization, the ATS auto-fill system, and the agent interfaces (web application, Chrome extension, iMessage/WhatsApp, and MCP server).

• Reverse-engineer and efficiently automate over 19 applicant tracking systems at scale, managing logins, various field types, and open-ended questions.

• Deploy LLM-enhanced features that analyze job descriptions, personalize application materials, and respond to open-ended questions in each candidate's unique voice — accurately and adhering to ATS constraints.

• Take ownership of features from conception through design, architecture, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.

• Establish the engineering culture and standards as one of the initial hires, and assist in recruiting the remainder of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in building and delivering production software, preferably within an early-stage startup or in a role with extensive ownership.

• Strong full-stack capabilities — proficient in managing everything from the database to the user interface, with a focus on delivery.

• Experience in web automation, data scraping, or browser tooling, or a strong willingness to quickly gain expertise in these areas.

• Practical experience in developing with LLMs and transforming them into dependable, production-ready features.

• High degree of autonomy and accountability — you identify ambiguous challenges, make decisions, and drive them to completion.

• Enthusiastic about working in person, moving quickly, and contributing to the development of an early-stage company.
