Founding CEO – B2B SaaS, 100% remote, 25% equity after funding milestone

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create the financing strategy, investment narrative, pitch deck, and financial blueprint.

• Oversee the fundraising process, from establishing the investor pipeline to pitches, due diligence, and closing deals.

• Articulate work2stay's vision to investors, customers, partners, and prospective employees.

• Personally secure the initial paying customers and develop a sustainable marketing and sales funnel.

• Fine-tune the target audience, positioning, pricing, and packaging based on actual market feedback.

• After securing funding, take on the full responsibilities of CEO, including strategy, financial performance, team management, and stakeholder relations.

• Direct product strategy informed by customer interactions and sales analytics.

• Lead the organization as Founding CEO over the long term, focusing on the expansion of marketing, sales, operations, and team development.

• Collaborate with the existing founding team across business functions, branding, technology, and company growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience founding a company or leading an early-stage venture in a CEO or similar entrepreneurial capacity.

• Proven track record of securing at least €1 million in external equity as a founder, CEO, or primary responsible individual.

• Independently managed the fundraising process from sourcing investors to pitching and executing term sheets and closings.

• Familiarity with B2B SaaS models.

• Demonstrated success in marketing and selling products, transforming them into recurring revenue streams.

• Proficient in marketing and sales skills: positioning, pitching, handling objections, and closing deals.

• Capacity to convey a significant vision with clarity and depth.

• Strong sense of ownership, decisiveness, and resilience.

• Ability to lead teams, foster trust, and unite diverse stakeholders towards a common objective.

• Align with work2stay's vision and be ready to take full responsibility for the company's long-term leadership.

• Willing to personally assume the financial responsibility during the initial phase until funding is secured.

• Excellent communication skills in German and proficient communication skills in English.

• No salary or equity in the company until the successful closure of the agreed funding round.

• Upon closing, receive 25% equity in work2stay, prior to any dilution from the funding round.

• The time from joining will contribute toward the four-year vesting period.

• Following successful funding, an appropriate CEO salary will be included in the financial plan.
