Forward Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Engage directly with clients to implement, customize, and resolve issues with Firecrawl in production settings.

• Spearhead technical implementation for key accounts, overseeing the process from integration to optimization.

• Diagnose intricate real-world challenges related to APIs, crawling systems, data pipelines, and infrastructure limitations.

• Create reusable solutions, templates, and deployment playbooks tailored to common customer requirements.

• Convert customer feedback into practical insights for product and engineering teams.

• Work collaboratively with core engineers to enhance reliability, performance, and user experience.

• Establish and document best practices for scaling the implementation of Firecrawl.

• Manage customer issues from start to finish, ensuring successful outcomes without relying heavily on processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in developing and deploying production systems (or equivalent practical experience).

• Strong foundational knowledge in APIs, distributed systems, troubleshooting, and infrastructure.

• Experience in addressing real-world integration challenges within production environments.

• Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.

• Background in customer-facing technical positions such as Solutions Engineer, SRE, DevRel, or engineering with an infrastructure focus.

• Comfortable operating in high-pressure, fast-paced startup settings.

• Strong sense of ownership with the capability to work autonomously.

• Proficient in developing practical solutions under tight deadlines.
