Forward Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct organized discovery sessions with customer administrators, IT/security personnel, and business stakeholders to outline current processes, systems, challenges, and desired results.

• Create the target workflow within Sprinto, encompassing entities, owners, automations, checks, approval paths, evidence flows, questionnaires, and AI-assisted functions.

• Configure and implement customer solutions across various Sprinto modules and integrated systems; utilize APIs and custom integrations when standard workflows fall short.

• Develop technical resources as needed, including API mappings, data transformations, simple scripts, testing plans, and troubleshooting documentation.

• Contribute to the production codebase to enhance feature capabilities throughout the platform.

• Oversee deployment execution from initial scoping to live implementation, which includes validation, risk management, issue resolution, and structured transitions to CSM/support teams.

• Test solutions with customers, establish success criteria, monitor adoption, and iterate based on exceptions, usage patterns, and stakeholder input.

• Transform recurring customer requests into reusable playbooks, templates, accelerators, and design patterns that enhance future deployments.

• Collaborate closely with Solutions Engineers, CSMs, GRC specialists, Product, and Engineering teams to balance customer customization with repeatability and product vision.

• Provide support for escalated post-go-live workflow issues that require technical expertise, process reengineering, or new deployment strategies.

• Solution design judgment — a strong intuition for when to configure, extend, or develop solutions from the ground up.

• Full-stack engineering execution — capability to implement production-quality changes across APIs, backend systems, and integrations.

• Agent-driven development — expertise in utilizing LLM/agent systems (e.g., clause-based agents) to produce, modify, and validate code.

• Prompt & workflow design — crafting reliable prompts, tools, and execution flows to ensure consistent agent behavior.

• System integration & APIs — comprehensive understanding of integrating external systems, managing data flow, and addressing edge cases.

• Rapid prototyping & iteration — delivering quick solutions, engaging with users, and refining based on tight feedback loops.

• Debugging & adaptability — the ability to diagnose issues in both human-written and agent-generated code.

• Stakeholder communication — effective and concise communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Product sense & feedback looping — recognizing recurring patterns and providing insights for product and platform enhancements.
