Forward Deployed Software Engineer – EU

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with sales and customer support teams to facilitate Outset’s expansion in the EU.

• Engage directly with customers to collect feedback, identify challenges, and develop targeted features.

• Deliver pre- and post-sales technical assistance and address technical inquiries and issues.

• Offer global operational support for the platform.

• Design, develop, and enhance frontend interfaces using React and Next.js.

• Create robust, responsive components that integrate with backend services and APIs.

• Design, develop, and refine backend services, APIs, and real-time data processing infrastructures.

• Implement and improve the internal Large Language Model and real-time interview technologies.

• Oversee customer-facing projects from initial concept through to production deployment, ensuring scalability, responsiveness, and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, focusing on building and maintaining production-grade frontend and backend systems.

• Experience in a role that involves direct customer interaction.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

• Proven experience in developing scalable and responsive web applications.

• Familiarity with integrating frontend applications with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

• Strong skills in Python and Django, including experience in building robust APIs.

• Extensive knowledge of SQL databases, preferably Postgres.

• Experience in deploying and managing services on AWS.

• Strong grasp of UI/UX principles and best practices.

• Bonus: familiarity with real-time data visualization, real-time data streaming and export, WebRTC, or AI/ML infrastructure.

• Candidates must indicate whether sponsorship or a work permit will be necessary to work in the EU.
