Forward Deployed Process Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Convert business requirements into technical architecture and implementation strategies by performing a current state analysis, which includes standard operating procedures and process mapping.

• Collaborate with Process Engineers and consulting teams to provide comprehensive solutions by developing a product vision document, product roadmap, and future state process flow.

• Offer technical and operational support throughout the engagement.

• Create an implementation and stakeholder communication plan tailored for client-specific use cases.

• Develop training programs for end users and establish a change management strategy to foster adoption and create a feedback loop for continuous support.

• Establish sustainable mechanisms to monitor KPIs and SLAs that yield measurable value creation and performance tracking for steady state operations.

• Work together with executive teams to align medical coding processes with overarching strategic goals.

• Assess and enhance medical coding workflows by utilizing AI technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• Act as a liaison between executive leadership and operational teams to ensure effective communication and implementation of best practices.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% to engage with clients and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in healthcare client-facing consulting.

• Healthcare certifications in coding audits are advantageous.

• Exceptional communication abilities and the capacity to influence key stakeholders.

• Skilled in data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving.

• Extensive experience in project management, process improvement, and implementation support.

• Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM/PCS & CPT/HCPCS coding guidelines and reimbursement methods.

• AAPC or AHIMA Certified coding professional: CIC, CPC, CCS, RHIA, RHIT preferred for Mid-Cycle Coding Consultants.
