Forward Deployed Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish the Forward Deployed Engineering program for Coder within Customer Solutions.

• Take ownership of the initial phase of post-sales processes, focusing on onboarding and customer recovery initiatives.

• Assist clients in implementing both the technical and organizational adjustments necessary for embracing agentic development workflows.

• Collaborate with the Field CTO and the leadership of Customer Solutions to synchronize strategy, customer insights, and execution.

• Leverage customer indicators, product feedback, and operational metrics to enhance onboarding quality, health outcomes, and readiness for expansion.

• Create scalable, repeatable patterns that can be utilized across various customer segments with differing complexities.

• Define how AI and human-in-the-loop workflows should evolve within Customer Solutions over time.

• Play a role in recruitment and team assembly, with the expectation that this function will continue to grow by the end of the year.

• You have experience leading or contributing to technical customer-facing teams such as professional services, forward deployed engineering, solution architecture, or implementation.

• You are able to engage directly with customers while also designing the systems, patterns, and operational models that support the work.

• You thrive in ambiguous situations and are motivated by the opportunity to create a new category of work instead of following an established playbook.

• You are dedicated to customer outcomes, product feedback mechanisms, and effective organizational transformations.

• You possess sufficient technical expertise to engage credibly with cloud-native platforms, developer workflows, and AI-driven development methodologies.

• Experience with Terraform, platform engineering, developer infrastructure, or cloud development environments is a plus.
