Forward Deployed Engineer – VC Backed Startups

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their workflows, technical setups, and business needs.

• Conceptualize, construct, and implement production-ready solutions utilizing the company's main platform or APIs.

• Create customized integrations, applications, and technical workflows tailored to the specific requirements of customers.

• Diagnose intricate implementation, infrastructure, data, and product challenges.

• Work alongside product and engineering teams to convert customer insights into enhancements for the platform.

• Assist customers in navigating technical architecture, deployment, testing, and adoption processes.

• Develop reusable tools, documentation, and implementation frameworks to enhance delivery for all clients.

• Facilitate pilots and proofs of concept, aiding customers in transitioning successfully into production environments.

• Recognize recurring customer needs that can influence product strategy and roadmap focus areas.

• Submit an application to become part of SignalFire’s Talent Ecosystem.

• Keep an updated profile for potential Forward Deployed Engineer opportunities within SignalFire’s portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, technical consulting, or a comparable customer-facing technical position.

• Proficient coding abilities in Python, JavaScript or TypeScript, Java, Go, or C++.

• Experience in creating APIs, integrations, data pipelines, or production applications.

• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Capability to comprehend customer requirements and convert them into feasible technical solutions.

• Strong debugging, systems thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple customer deployments or technical projects concurrently.

• Willingness to travel occasionally, based on the company's and customers' needs.
