Forward Deployed Engineer, Mandarin Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Engage directly with clients to comprehend their business challenges, workflows, and technical specifications.

• Create, configure, and implement customized solutions that meet client requirements.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the client engagement lifecycle.

• Collaborate extensively with Product, Engineering, Data, and Customer Success teams to convert client feedback into product enhancements.

• Develop prototypes, integrations, workflows, and proof-of-concept projects to showcase product capabilities.

• Assist in deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization efforts.

• Evaluate client data and business processes to uncover opportunities for automation and increased efficiency.

• Lead successful project delivery while balancing technical and business objectives.

• Offer technical training and support to client teams when necessary.

• Travel and work on-site with clients as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Strong foundation in software engineering with practical development experience.

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, or C++.

• Experience with APIs, integrations, databases, and cloud technologies.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Professional fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English.

• Willingness and capability to relocate to Shanghai for 3–6 months.

• Background in customer-facing technical positions, such as Solutions Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Technical Consultant, Solutions Architect, or Forward Deployed Engineer.

• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, data platforms, or enterprise software solutions.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience in building client-specific integrations and workflows.

• Understanding of SQL, data analysis, and automation tools.

• Previous experience collaborating with international teams and clients.

• A commitment to continuous learning and collaboration in a global environment.
