Forward Deployed Engineer, DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and expand the specialized infrastructure that supports custom agent integrations.

• Design, construct, and uphold cloud infrastructure for hosting tailored services.

• Establish adaptable and reusable CI/CD pipeline templates to enhance automation.

• Advocate for Infrastructure as Code to ensure standardized service environments.

• Oversee a Kubernetes-based ecosystem for integration services.

• Implement monitoring and observability tools to gain insights into performance.

• Act as the DevOps partner for the Forward Deployed Engineering team.

• Create automation scripts (Python, Go, Bash) to manage the lifecycle of integration services.

• Support and enhance legacy Azure infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a related field.

• A strong customer-centric approach, seeing the Forward Deployed Engineering team as your primary client.

• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python, Go, or Bash.

• Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Advanced understanding of containerization and orchestration, particularly with Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.

• Proven track record of creating flexible CI pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, and CD/GitOps workflows with tools such as Argo CD.

• Strong foundation in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform is highly preferred).

• Experience in building self-service tools and platforms that empower specific development teams.
