Forward-Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with customer teams to gain insights into mission workflows, challenges, and operational limitations.

• Create and develop tailored applications and workflows (“app packs”) leveraging the platform.

• Quickly prototype and refine agentic AI solutions in practical settings.

• Convert non-technical user requirements into technical applications.

• Function independently in forward-deployed settings with minimal supervision.

• Collect and analyze product feedback, feature suggestions, and usage data.

• Work alongside product engineering and agentic solution teams to shape the roadmap and enhance capabilities.

• Integrate with enterprise systems such as data platforms, ticketing systems, and collaboration tools.

• Develop lightweight UI components and interfaces as needed to facilitate workflows.

• Assist in the deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of solutions in the field.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solution Engineering, or comparable customer-facing technical roles.

• Proven experience in developing and delivering full-stack applications or prototypes in production or near-production environments.

• Proficient in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or other similar scripting languages.

• Experience with enterprise system integration (e.g., Microsoft O365, Palantir Foundry, Databricks, ServiceNow, Atlassian).

• Capability to create simple UI/UX using frameworks such as Node.js, Next.js, or React.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and tackle ambiguous challenges.

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in classified or restricted environments is an advantage.

• Due to government contract stipulations, we are only able to consider US citizens or Green Card holders for this position.
