Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients to gain insights into their workflows, technical settings, and success metrics.

• Assist in pre-sales exploration and the shaping of technical solutions.

• Design and create prototypes for AI-native applications and agents.

• Construct and implement production-ready systems.

• Integrate with APIs, enterprise-level systems, and client environments.

• Diagnose issues and facilitate the adoption process.

• Convert business requirements into actionable technical solutions.

• Recognize product gaps and edge cases based on customer interactions.

• Work with product and engineering teams to provide feedback on implementation insights.

• Establish trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust software engineering foundation with experience in delivering production systems.

• Background in customer-facing technical positions such as forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, implementation engineering, or similar roles.

• Practical experience in developing AI-native applications, agents, or systems powered by LLM.

• Strong comprehension of APIs, modern application architectures, and enterprise integrations.

• Capability to assess technical feasibility and articulate trade-offs effectively.

• Comfort in navigating ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.

• Excellent communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• High level of ownership and commitment to customer outcomes.

• Ideally, you should also possess:

• Experience assisting enterprise sales processes with live prototypes or proofs of value.

• Experience influencing product direction through customer interactions.

• Familiarity with agent frameworks, prompt engineering, or AI orchestration methodologies.

• A background in startups or high-growth environments.

• Experience engaging in both pre-sale and post-sale phases of customer delivery.
