This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Engaging directly with clients (approximately half of the role)
• Facilitate technical discussions during the onboarding phase: architecture evaluations, security questionnaires, SSO, and data flow dialogues with the client's IT teams
• Convert client workflow requirements into product terminology, and translate product capabilities into terms understandable to clients
• Manage accounts post go-live: focus on adoption, growth, and the quarterly “how is this actually going” discussions
• Serve as the reliable technical contact when issues arise or new requirements emerge
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams (the other half of the role)
• Assist in developing client-specific configurations, integrations, and custom code (such as SSO, data mappings, API integrations, etc.)
• Transform recurring client requests into structured product requirements and advocate for these with the product team
• Rapidly prototype solutions, validate them with the client, and then pass the generalizable components to the engineering team
• Document runbooks and resources that ensure each client’s setup is maintainable by individuals other than yourself
• Minimum of 3 years in a technical position with client interaction: solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical account management, or product engineering with significant customer involvement.
• Proficiency in reading and writing production code: While you don't have to be the strongest or sole engineer on the team, the ability to build solutions must be a viable option, not just a handoff.
• Ability to lead discussions: whether it's an in-depth SSO session with a bank’s IT security team in the morning or a product feedback meeting in the afternoon.
• Background in financial services, or demonstrated capacity to quickly grasp regulated domains.
• Strong writing skills: Requirement documents, runbooks, and follow-up emails are key components of this role’s impact.
• Good judgment regarding what to build, what to configure, and when to push back.
• Nice to have: Experience in fintech, particularly on the vendor side for banks (or other fintech companies).
• Previous experience in an early-stage B2B company where you performed multiple roles.
• Understanding of enterprise security and compliance processes (vendor due diligence, DORA, GDPR).
• Flexible work arrangements
