This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Engage directly with customers and Laureates to grasp operational workflows, limitations, and technical environments.
• Design and execute production-grade solutions across backend services, orchestration layers, integrations, and internal tools.
• Develop high-quality code throughout the stack — primarily using TypeScript, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
• Take ownership of deployments from start to finish: discovery, architecture, implementation, testing, rollout, monitoring, and iteration.
• Troubleshoot complex issues spanning customer systems, infrastructure, authentication, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with Product and Core Engineering teams to convert field insights into reusable platform capabilities.
• Quickly prototype new functionalities while maintaining strong engineering principles regarding scalability and maintainability.
• Transform vague customer requirements into distinct technical plans and execution strategies.
• Assist customers in safely and effectively operationalizing AI in real production environments.
• Support the implementation team's efforts to minimize time to impact for customers.
• Possess 4+ years of experience in developing production software systems.
• Be comfortable navigating backend, infrastructure, integrations, and customer environments.
• Capable of independently architecting and delivering complex systems with minimal oversight.
• Have experience with APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and data-heavy applications.
• Have worked with LLMs, AI agents, retrieval systems, orchestration frameworks, or applied AI systems in production settings.
• Excel in ambiguous environments where requirements change rapidly.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrate a strong focus on speed, iteration, and customer impact.
• Be enthusiastic about working directly with customers and taking ownership of outcomes, not merely managing tickets.
