Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with our customers’ engineering teams to implement Kota’s SDKs and APIs into their systems.

• Convert customer requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions.

• Enhance Kota’s product by developing internal tools, creating reusable code, and identifying areas for improvement in APIs and SDKs.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure effective deployments.

• Serve as the technical advocate for the customer, influencing feature development and roadmap planning.

• Troubleshoot complex issues across various systems, APIs, and data flows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or in a similar technical role involving customer interaction.

• Proficient in writing and reviewing production code in TypeScript, Python, or C# (experience with multiple programming languages is advantageous).

• Comfortable working with APIs, SDKs, and data integrations.

• Demonstrated success in scoping and delivering complex systems in dynamic environments.

• Strong communication skills; able to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

• Ability to identify risks early and adapt without hindering progress.

• Possess a proactive mindset - excel in uncertain situations and act swiftly while upholding high-quality standards.
