Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Design and implement sophisticated API gateway and service mesh solutions for enterprise clients.

• Facilitate technical deep-dive sessions, workshops, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to resolve critical technical issues for customers.

• Take ownership of the technical success of key customer accounts from pre-sales to post-implementation.

• Shape the product roadmap by gathering essential feedback from customers.

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and technical account managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in a client-facing technical role, preferably in an enterprise software context.

• Extensive knowledge of API lifecycle management, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.

• Strong proficiency in cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Skilled in programming and scripting languages such as Golang, Python, Lua, or JavaScript.

• Familiarity with Open Source, APIs, or Infrastructure.

• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
