This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Collaborate across Sales, Product, R&D, and Implementation teams.
• Partner with Solutions Consultants and Account Executives on strategic accounts and new business opportunities.
• Take ownership of discovery, technical scoping, architecture, implementation, evaluation, productionization, adoption, and handoff for strategic customer solutions.
• Quickly implement the current product using customer data to demonstrate value within deals.
• Rapidly create near-production-ready prototypes when product capabilities fall short.
• Construct the smallest viable prototype to validate hypotheses within deal timelines.
• Design production solutions that ensure security, reliability, observability, maintainability, and integration with customer architecture.
• Build, deploy, and assess solutions utilizing customer data.
• Monitor adoption, workflow impact, reliability, and time-to-value; iterate with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product and R&D to transform validated customer patterns and production evidence into roadmap investments, reusable components, and platform enhancements.
• Create reusable accelerators based on recurring customer requirements.
• Continuously update solution specifications in collaboration with customers.
• Work alongside Product to assess business potential, market demands, competitive differentiation, and functional/technical specifications.
• Evaluate success based on influenced ACV, prototype speed, prototype transition to production, reusable accelerators, and recurring gaps reported to Product.
• Strong customer-facing and commercial skills.
• Ability to facilitate technical discovery sessions and engage in value conversations with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Capability to link technical solutions to customer outcomes and deal value.
• Skill in generalizing customer solutions into reusable accelerators.
• Experience in LLM application development, RAG, prompt and context engineering, and agent orchestration.
• Judicious use of single versus multi-agent patterns and management of memory and state.
• Regular use of modern AI coding tools like Claude Code.
• Knowledge of enterprise integrations in regulated utility markets.
• Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS/Smallworld, IBM Maximo/EAM, SAP/Oracle ERP/PPM, and PowerBI/reporting systems.
• Technical and functional knowledge of REST and streaming APIs, authentication patterns, and integration with enterprise systems of record.
• Domain experience in asset-intensive industries or capital and asset investment planning is a significant advantage, but not a requirement.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed, up to about 50% of the time.
• Preferred background in software or data engineering.
• Proven experience in building and delivering maintainable production software.
• Proficiency in Angular, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Comfort with unfamiliar languages and codebases.
• Understanding of SQL, data modeling, and data ingestion, transformation, and serving pipelines.
• Strong debugging abilities with imperfect customer data in real-time environments.
• Depth in production engineering focused on observability, performance, and scalability.
• Previous experience in customer-facing technical roles, solutions engineering, forward deployment, technical consulting, or startups.
• Prior experience deploying AI solutions in enterprise or regulated settings.
