This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the technical execution for AI deployments.
• Collaborate closely with Deployment Strategists and clients to develop production systems tailored for healthcare operations.
• Recognize customer challenges and create AI solutions utilizing RAG, tool calling, LLM-as-judge, and other sophisticated LLM methodologies.
• Design and establish retrieval-augmented generation pipelines based on customer data.
• Implement tool-calling architectures and Model Context Protocol (MCP) connections to customer systems.
• Develop production-level Python code using LangChain, LangSmith, and contemporary AI frameworks.
• Set up secure, monitored production environments and oversee deployment and go-live processes.
• Monitor deployed systems, address incidents, resolve customer issues, and apply necessary fixes.
• Create dependable integrations with EHRs, data warehouses, operational tools, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Articulate AI system architecture to clients, collaboratively debug issues, and enhance operational reliability.
• 3–5 years of experience in software engineering with a strong foundation in Python and production software development.
• Practical experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain and LangSmith.
• Profound understanding of RAG, prompt engineering, tool calling, LLM-as-judge, and associated LLM development patterns.
• Experience in creating integrations with APIs, databases, or enterprise systems.
• Proficiency with asynchronous patterns and error handling.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from a highly regarded university.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar tool-integration methodologies.
• Background in healthcare IT, including EHR integrations, FHIR, HL7, or healthcare data standards.
• Experience in production DevOps or infrastructure roles, including monitoring and incident response.
• Proven track record of deploying AI systems or working with LLMs in a production environment.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time to client locations.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
