Forward-Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.

📋 Description

• Develop agent-centric products from inception to completion within the codebases of Everfield's business units.

• Integrate into any business unit codebase, become productive within days, and deliver functional software quickly.

• Adopt agentic coding as the standard approach to work.

• Collaborate directly with business unit customers to prototype and iterate based on real usage.

• Partner with business unit engineering teams within their respective codebases.

• Convert validated concepts into deployed products within weeks instead of months.

• Ensure a smooth handoff: deliver production-ready code along with comprehensive documentation.

• Identify future development opportunities while executing current projects.

• Assist in codifying successful processes into a repeatable build playbook.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior engineer with a proven track record of delivering software to actual users.

• Experience as a founder or in a near-founder role.

• Familiarity with AI-native methodologies.

• Practicality with a polyglot programming approach.

• Ability to navigate and work with complex, legacy code.

• Experience with direct customer engagement.

• 3 to 8 years of relevant experience, typically in engineering, founding, or hybrid product/engineering positions.

• Comfort with uncertainty and the ability to switch between business units, codebases, and customer segments without becoming hindered.
