Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Develop code to implement Chalk technology for Chalk's customers and prospects. You will gain an understanding of the Chalk infrastructure and identify the optimal methods for integration and implementation across various environments.

• Collaborate closely with our Engineering and Sales teams.

• Serve as the primary technical liaison during both pre-sales and post-sales phases (including onboarding new customers or providing support to existing ones).

• Suggest new products to customers as their business needs change.

• Assist in interviewing and expanding the Engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical background with experience in software development or building ML models.

• At least 4 years of professional experience in backend software engineering.

• Proficient in Python and SQL.

• Capability to work effectively within teams comprising both technical and non-technical personnel.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with problem-solving, storytelling, and analytical abilities.

• Experience collaborating with sales teams and customers is advantageous.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Prior experience with ML/data products or services.

• Understanding of Machine Learning Operations and Infrastructure.

• Previous experience as a forward-deployed engineer in a rapidly growing startup focused on Machine Learning.
