Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of a product from start to finish: including discovery, design, development, deployment, and evaluating results.

• Collaborate closely with subject-matter experts to identify challenges and co-create effective solutions.

• Develop APIs, interfaces, and integrations for property management and financial systems.

• Choose the most suitable solutions, whether they involve models, deterministic pipelines, third-party products, or process modifications.

• Engage with financial intelligence, operational workflows, marketing, and data products.

• Lead AI code generation throughout the development process and assist in establishing team standards for its implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in building and deploying production software.

• Strong expertise in either Python or TypeScript.

• Proficient in APIs, SQL, and managing production deployments.

• Extensive knowledge of AI-assisted development and coding agents.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

• Educational background in computer science, software engineering, a coding bootcamp, or similar practical experience.

• Capability to navigate loosely defined issues, take ownership of execution, and assess outcomes.

• Previous experience in property management, real estate, or another operations-intensive sector.

• Familiarity with Domo or other business intelligence platforms.

• Exposure to property management systems such as Yardi, RealPage, or Entrata.

• Experience in building internal tools or automations for a non-technical organization.

• Involvement in a side project, small business, or self-automated job.

• This role is classified as safety-sensitive and may have additional compliance requirements.
