Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You comprehend, organize, and assess the technical requirements provided by our clients.

• You create and establish integrations between 8returns and external platforms, including shops, ERP systems, 3PLs, and warehousing tools.

• You examine APIs, webhooks, and technical documentation to ensure seamless data flows.

• You support customer needs from the initial technical evaluation to the fully operational solution.

• You evaluate feasibility, required effort, and technical risks for the Sales and Customer Success teams.

• You autonomously implement minor product modifications, automations, and tailored customer extensions.

• You troubleshoot integration issues and devise robust solutions as a result.

• You recognize recurring integration patterns and convert them into reusable components.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical background in Software Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Implementation Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• A strong understanding of APIs, data models, webhooks, authentication, logs, and technical documentation.
