Forward Deployed Engineer – AI SOC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical lead for the deployment and operationalization of security and AI solutions within customer or enterprise settings.

• Convert business, operational, and security requirements into deployable architectures and implementation strategies.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that solutions align with operational objectives, compliance standards, and long-term platform strategies.

• Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the onboarding, implementation, rollout, and optimization phases.

• Design and implement integrations across SIEM, XDR, SOAR, case management systems, data platforms, and AI-enabled tools.

• Construct and configure cloud-native data ingestion, normalization, and enrichment pipelines for security telemetry.

• Integrate APIs, webhooks, message queues, and automation workflows across identity, endpoint, cloud, network, and application ecosystems.

• Create reusable deployment patterns, templates, and technical assets to expedite future implementations.

• Operationalize AI and automation use cases within security workflows, such as alert enrichment, triage support, summarization, clustering, playbook selection, and analyst copilots.

• Collaborate with detection engineering and data teams to facilitate the implementation of behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, risk scoring, and other AI-assisted security applications.

• Assist in defining data requirements, feedback loops, and operational guardrails essential for achieving effective AI outcomes in production settings.

• Ensure that deployed solutions are practical, measurable, and aligned with analyst workflows and response objectives.

• Implement secure and governed automation for investigation and response use cases across diverse environments.

• Support the resiliency, observability, performance, and scalability requirements of deployed solutions.

• Troubleshoot integration issues, deployment hurdles, and production challenges in collaboration with platform, cloud, and security teams.

• Enhance reliability and maintainability through documentation, testing, monitoring, and standardized engineering practices.

• Work collaboratively across Security Operations, Security Engineering, Detection Engineering, Data Science, Infrastructure, and product or customer teams.

• Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Mentor engineers and contribute to best practices regarding implementation, delivery, and technical solution design.

• Provide field feedback to shape the platform roadmap, product direction, and architectural standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in security engineering, platform engineering, forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, or similar technical roles.

• Practical experience in implementing and operating contemporary SOC technologies such as SIEM, XDR, and SOAR.

• Experience in deploying cloud-native architectures on at least one major cloud provider, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong expertise in data integration, telemetry pipelines, normalization, and security analytics workflows.

• Experience working closely with customers, internal stakeholders, or cross-functional delivery teams in implementation-centric environments.

• Capacity to lead technical engagements, drive execution, and influence results without direct authority.
