Forward Deployed AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders in a consultative capacity to pinpoint challenges and initiate the development of solutions that streamline manual and repetitive workflows.

• Develop production-level code — this position is focused on implementation rather than strategy.

• Create agents to automate tedious tasks.

• Work alongside department heads to design, test, and implement AI-driven agents and workflow automations.

• Take responsibility for evaluations, observability, guardrails, and the assessment of operational effectiveness.

• Leverage AI coding tools (e.g., Claude, Replit, Vercel, etc.), as well as low/no-code platforms and workflow automation instruments to quickly develop and launch MVPs.

• Manage cloud infrastructure, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and ensure operational reliability for delivered solutions.

• Lead vendor assessments, negotiate modular solutions, and guarantee seamless integration with our data and AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in launching LLM-powered products in a production environment (Python/TypeScript, orchestration frameworks, RAG).

• Proficient in evaluations, observability, and guardrails — able to identify when AI is underperforming without apparent signs.

• Capable of both prototyping and productionizing solutions — not limited to one aspect.

• Functions independently and communicates effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
