This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Analyze and determine the underlying causes of failures and damage in HVAC and MEP systems.
• Evaluate building management systems, automation systems, fire protection systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Operate both independently and collaboratively with a team of cross-functional experts.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Florida or eligible for reciprocity.
• 5-10 years of experience in designing or working with mechanical equipment and systems, including HVAC and MEP systems.
• A minimum of 5 years of forensic engineering experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent technical writing abilities.
• Strong communication skills for effective face-to-face interactions.
• Capability to deliver superior customer service.
• Proficiency with computers and industry-specific software.
• Experience as an expert witness is anticipated.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• CFI (IAAI) and/or CFEI (NAFI) certification(s) are preferred.
