This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Evaluate and interpret title documents along with the legal descriptions of properties.
• Oversee tasks related to title curative issues.
• Effectively communicate with clients regarding title-related concerns.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure precision in title documentation.
• Experience in analyzing title documents and legal property descriptions.
• Familiarity with navigating and researching online county records.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Self-driven and goal-oriented with a strong commitment to achieving success.
• Excellent communication skills, encompassing verbal, written, and listening abilities.
• Proficient in drafting professional emails and concisely addressing title issues within a client case management platform.
• Able to critically evaluate complex title matters.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in title review is required.
• Experience related to the Foreclosure process and its implications on Title is preferred.
• Skilled in entering and/or verifying a substantial volume of data with high accuracy.
• Comfortable exercising decisive judgment with minimal supervision.
• Capable of reviewing and comparing county Tax/GIS maps, liens, judgments, leases, Deeds, agreements, Security Instruments, contracts, surveys, and plat books to validate accurate legal descriptions and ownership.
• Familiarity with Testate/Intestate succession and the review of Probate documents within the chain of title to ensure all interests are recognized.
• Proficient in identifying and recording all parties that require notice of Foreclosure (Non-Judicial or Judicial) into a case management platform.
• Capable of clearly explaining chain of title issues, priority matters, statute of limitations concerns, missing assignments, legal description discrepancies, etc., to clients.
• Ability to identify title defects and propose curative solutions.
• Comfortable reviewing Gap/Updated title reports along with supporting documentation and confirming inclusion of all parties in Foreclosure proceedings.
• Familiar with Foreclosure Servicing platforms such as Black Knight, Tempo, etc.
• Able to identify Mobile Homes and understand the appropriate de-titling process for government conveyance.
• Proficient in locating obituaries online and conducting skip tracing for identified Heirs.
• Comfortable engaging with Tax offices, 911 addressing offices, Probate offices, Deed record offices, etc., to gather necessary information.
• Capable of maintaining daily production levels.
• Notaries or candidates willing to become a notary are preferred.
• Ability to prioritize various tasks in a high-volume setting.
• Exceptional customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in communication with Attorneys, Co-Workers, and Clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Technologically adept with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel, along with other electronic databases. (Excel - capable of adding/deleting rows and columns, sorting and filtering, searching for data within a workbook, and performing other basic formatting tasks.)
